Shipping & Delivery
All products ordered through the M.I.C Gadget Store website originating in Hong Kong are shipped via EMS or Registered Airmail unless otherwise requested by the Customer. All Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the Customer and should be considered when calculating the cost of your order. M.I.C Gadget Store will provide our Customers the tracking number for their merchandise via e-mail to the address provided, the instant it is generated by the Shipper. M.I.C Gadget Store will notify you via email the moment your item is shipped. Your receipt of payment will also be included at this time.

The Store.MICGadget.com website lists the hottest products that hit the Hong Kong China market. Due to local demand, there are times when some items may not be available at the time of your order. In such cases, we will notify the Customer immediately when the product should be available and the estimated amount of time it will take to be delivered. In such cases, the Customer will of course have the option to cancel their order immediately.

Since we do not begin the shipment process until we receive payment, M.I.C Gadget Store will credit your account, return your funds or credit your charge card as per your payment method and/or directions.

Cancellation Policy

All M.I.C Gadget Customers have three (3) days of “cooling off” period to cancel their order, provided that the merchandise is cancelled prior to shipment from Hong Kong. If you have remitted funds to M.I.C Gadget your funds will be refunded the next business day (local Hong Kong time) minus a 25% processing and cancellation fee. If you purchased your merchandise in a different currency, your fee will be calculated in your currency based on the PayPal exchange rate on the date of your cancellation. The “cooling off” period is a period you have as an online consumer in which to make up your mind if you want the goods or not. By law, you have seven working days from the date of receipt of the goods/service in which you can cancel the contract. You do not have to have a reason to cancel – a simple change of mind is enough.

Registered Airmail (Details)
In an effort to keep prices as low as possible, Store.MICGadget.com decided to implement a new Shipping Method on top of the EMS one. Through a transport via Airmail, shipping costs are considerably reduced. Once payment is verified and validated, at least 7 to 14 business days are required for delivery from the date of the shipment. Unless special notice has been specified in the product page within M.I.C Store, shipment will usually take place within 48hr after the three (3) days of “cooling off” period. M.I.C Gadget Store will provide our Customers the tracking number for their merchandise via e-mail to the address provided, the instant it is generated by the Shipper.  M.I.C Gadget Store will notify you via email the moment your item is shipped. Your receipt of payment will also be included at this time.

IMPORTANT:
The Registered Airmail delivery mode does not include any insurance. Store.MICGadget.com IS NOT responsible for any loss, theft, or other type of damage caused on the parcel during the transport. Finally please do note that the transport via Airmail is limited to a maximum weight of 2 kg. Depending on the country the customer may have a tracking number. Please contact us for more information
Although for more expensive goods Store.MICGadget.com strongly advise you to use EMS as shipping method which offers a free insurance on each of its parcel and an easy to use tracking number.

IMPORTANT:
Once the parcel is in Hands of EMS Hong Kong post, or regular Hong Kong Post service (Airmail) and once we provide you with the tracking number by email and/or in your Personal M.I.C Gadget account page, or we posted your parcel via Airmail, you are responsible for its delivery.

If for any reasons you failed to pick-up your parcel on time, it will return back to us in Hong Kong and you will be responsible for any additional fees needed to ship back your Order/Item to another or the Same delivery address. The customers will also be responsible for any return fees.

Returns & Refund Policy
M.I.C Gadget always aims to provide the best customer service available anywhere. However, from time to time an instance may arise where a product is damaged or does not meet the expectations of our Customers. In general, all merchandise purchased through our website carries the same standard manufacturer warranty that comes with the product when it is purchased, provided the unit is not damaged in any way.

The manufacturers WILL NOT honor product warranties if the items are damaged in any way by the Customer. In many cases, the manufacturers also will not honor the warranty if the merchandise is located outside of Hong Kong.

Since we test each unit prior to shipment, there should be no instances of your merchandise arriving Dead on Arrival (DOA). However, on the rare occasion that you merchandise is damaged in shipment or arrives DOA, we will of course help facilitate you return of faulty merchandise.

M.I.C Gadget WILL NOT accept the return of any merchandise if any part of the returned merchandise is damaged by the Customer in any way internally or externally. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule and the M.I.C Gadget Management remains the final arbiter over decisions on all returns.

M.I.C Gadget WILL accept returns of merchandise purchased through our website provided the return meets the following criteria:
1. The merchandise is returned in absolutely NEW CONDITION, just as it was shipped to the Customer initially. This means all of the original packaging, software and/or any other material included in the original shipment from M.I.C Gadget.

2. There is absolutely NO DAMAGE to any part or component of the originally shipped merchandise--visible or internal. M.I.C Gadget management reserves the right to determine the final returned condition of the merchandise and whether or not it will be accepted for return.

3. The merchandise purchased from M.I.C Gadget is returned in its original condition within FIVE (5) DAYS from its original delivery date.

4. You ship the merchandise to us via prepaid 2nd DAY AIR delivery service via a major parcel delivery service such as EMS, Airborne Express, DHL, UPS or FedEx. You are responsible for all shipping fees to M.I.C Gadget. These fees are non-refundable. In order to accept your returned merchandise, we require that you inform us of the carrier and tracking number via e-mail at: order@micgadget.com the same day it is shipped.

5. Returned merchandise must be accompanied by a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number (obtained from the M.I.C Gadget Customer Service or Technical Support Department) and a copy of the original purchase order to verify the serial numbers of all merchandise.

The Customers refund will be processed upon receipt of your merchandise and clearance from the Repair & Refund Department. M.I.C Gadget will notify you by e-mail immediately after your item is received and a refund has been issued.

Please remember that minor cosmetic damage, such as dead pixels are in general not grounds for return of many items purchased from the manufacturers. Please contact one of our highly trained Customer Service Representatives to identify the source of your concern and determine if it is a problem that can be handled locally or if the item must indeed be returned.

If you have any questions about performance of your merchandise, please contact M.I.C Gadget before attempting to return it directly to the manufacturer yourself or taking any other action. M.I.C Gadget will dispute any fraudulent "charge backs" and pursue legal action against Customers attempting to defraud M.I.C Gadget in any way.

IMPORTANT: Please remember to write “Return for Warranty Service” and the origin “Made in Hong Kong” clearly on your package or we WILL NOT accept the shipment due to the VAT fee that the Hong Kongese Customs Office will levy against us.

By using a refund, you will be entitled to be refunded of your order minus 5% restocking and handling fee will and minus all shipping cost related to this product/order.

Exchange Policy
M.I.C Gadget WILL NOT exchange or refund any merchandise if any part of the returned merchandise is damaged by the Customer in any way internally or externally. The M.I.C Gadget Management remains the final arbiter over decisions to grant refunds or issue a replacement.
Exchanges are valid only for products that are the same type (i.e. notebook to notebook) or for other products that are of an equivalent or greater value. The Customer is responsible for the difference in price, including the restocking fee. M.I.C Gadget WILL accept Exchanges of merchandise purchased through our website provided the return meets the following criteria:
1. The merchandise is returned for exchange in absolutely NEW CONDITION, just as it was shipped to the Customer initially. This means all of the original packaging, software and/or any other material included in the original shipment from M.I.C Gadget.
2. There is absolutely NO DAMAGE to any part or component of the originally shipped merchandise--visible or internal. M.I.C Gadget management reserves the right to determine the final returned condition of the merchandise and whether or not a refund or replacement will be issued.

Customs Clearance and Tax Details
International Customers are responsible for all customs duties fees, custom clearance fees and/or taxes applied in their home countries. M.I.C Gadget is not responsible for any customs duties fees, custom clearance fees or taxes imposed in the Customer’s home country. In some cases items may arrive to your delivery address without incurring customs duties, fees, or taxes. It is the Customer’s responsibility to pay these if necessary.
